While keeping the same minimalist design that many of us have grown to love, Google Chrome has evolved a lot in functionality. Besides the features we already knew from previous versions, such as the download manager or the incognito browsing mode, Chrome has now included great new functions based on feedback from their users.
The first example is something everyone was desperately asking for: support for extensions. Just like Firefox, Google Chrome now enables you to add small plug-ins to your browser for various purposes: check the weather, track your email account or your RSS feeds, manage downloads, translate web pages and more. Chrome extensions are neatly organized in anonline gallery and installing them is easy as pie.
The other great new feature in Google Chrome is bookmark syncing. From now on, you'll be able to keep a synced copy of all your bookmarks across different computers. Once enabled, bookmark syncing will store a copy of your current set of bookmarks in your Google account, and each additional computer where you enable this feature will receive a copy of this set.
Google Chrome still keeps the same awesome usability and ease of use. With a zero learning curve, you immediately feel at your element and there's no need to start testing new shortcuts or reading the documentation. So if you're considering switching to a new web browser, Google Chrome is definitely an excellent choice.
