Ashampoo Photo Optimizer is light on system resources and very easy to use. Its interface is divided into three panels, which show the folder structure, the contents of the selected folder and the current picture, respectively. This helps you easily check the results of any change you apply to your photos.
On the downside, I found the program too basic: there are quite a few basic editing tools missing (crop, resize, rotate, flip...) and the special filter section actually includes only three: sepia, greyscale and invert colors.
Ashampoo Photo Optimizer is a suitable photo managing tool with some basic editing and optimizing tools, but probably too basic for more advanced users.
